Television's version of the Oscars, The Emmy Awards take place next Sunday in Hollywood, but like the Oscars, the parties start early! Audi hosted an Emmy kick-off party last night at Cecconi's in Los Angeles and invited some of television's hottest stars like Glee's Matthew Morrison, Beverly Hills 90210's Jessica Lowndes and funny lady Kathy Griffin. CNN's talk show king, Larry King held a big telethon yesterday to raise money to help the victims of the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico and of course the phones were operated by a whole pack of Larry King's celebrity friends! It all started with Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder, whose hometown is right near where a lot of the oil went onto shore. This oil spill is said to be one of the worst environmental disasters ever, so no wonder everyone from Nicole Richie to Cameron Diaz and even Ryan Seacrest and Sting were there to help!

Samsung held its 9th annual "Four Seasons of Hope Gala" charity event at Cipriani's in New York City last. There were some star couples there like Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey with his lovely wife Camilla Alves. No one was shy in front of the cameras at all, as celeb couples sometimes are, in fact it was a bit of a cuddle fest! They were really showing the love!

The new season of Paris Hilton's reality tv series My New BFF premieres tonight on MTV and Paris claims this time no one is going to trick her like last season's winner Brittany Flickinger! Paris says she has been strict this time and the contestants had to follow certain rules, because its all about sisterhood. She says she is not superficial in real life, so doesn't need superficial friends around her! The show will have exciting guest stars like rapper Lil Kim and comedienne Kathy Griffin, oh and of course Paris' boyfriend Doug Reinhardt, who she says is her real life BFF, because he buys her presents all the time! More than 2000 people marched on the streets of of West Hollywood yesterday to protest the banning of same-sex marriage in the state of California. Hollywood stars like Drew Barrymore, Kelly Osbourne and openly gay singer Lance Bass were also there to show their support! We loved Kelly and Drew's funky makeup and marching gear! Many celebs like Angelina Jolie and Charlize Theron have said that they won't get married unless everyone in the USA has the right to marriage as well!

We can't imagine that Paris would ever be on anything except the A-list, so we are not sure why she is appearing on comedienne Kathy Griffith's show "My life on the D-list". The two ladies, dressed up in bright crazy outfits, went on a shopping expedition to Kitson boutique. Their dogs were parading around, Paris showed off her adorable little miniature Pomeranian Marilyn. Like all Paris' little pooches, Marilyn sporting an adorable outfit of her own. Kathy, her usual outrageous self, kept lifting up her skirts for the cameras!
