Katherine Heigl and her daughter Naleigh grace the cover for W Magazine's latest family issue. Katherine adopted little Naleigh, previously called "Nancy Leigh" from South Korea in September last year and inside the magazine she shares her thoughts on the adoption process and motherhood in general.
Here are some of the highlights: "I was about to play a woman in [Life As We Know It] who inherits a baby, and I was experiencing the exact same thing.
You have this empathy suddenly, this compassion for a mother going through anything complicated or difficult with a child. It's something that I understand now. That unbelievable drive and instinct to protect.
My sister Meg is Korean. I hope one day she and Naleigh will be able to talk about what it's like to be adopted."
We think it's great that Katherine has turned out to be such a devoted mom. Looking at the cover you can just tell that these two were meant for each other!
