When Coco Chanel died, Karl gained control over the company and has stayed there ever since. He designed a collection for H&M. His favorite models to work with are Claudia Schiffer and Stella Tennant.

This look was really crazy but we loved it! Electric blue pants, gold blazer, studded heels- yes please! Cute white jacket, fishnets, and flowing locks! Blake Lively and Leighton Meester are Gossip Girl BFFs. Love the tie day vest! WOAH! What a hot dress and killer shoes! Having Penn Badgley in the background is pretty nice too. We love Serena's bohemian look and messy ponytail! Doesn't Serena look fabulous in this kelly green dress and that totally glam hat? Love the bag and those boots! This is such a chic street style look! Serena looks so carefree in her pink pants and oxford heels. It's a crazy look but she pulls it together! Ok, can we all agree that this dress is amazing? Good! Serena channels her inner catwoman! She wears a sleek brain and all black.

Has Karl found his new muse? Rachel Bilson and Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld showed up arm in arm on the red carpet at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York last night and Rachel looked radiant in what we assume was a light pink Chanel frock! Her peer Blake Lively just landed a big contract for Chanel and we can't help but wonder if Rachel is next?

Isn't this taking branding one step too far? Yesterday in his home town of Paris, the chief designer of Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld held the launch of his new specially designed Diet Coca-Cola bottles! He really does have a funny way of picking side projects. Lending his voice to action-game Grand Theft Auto IV, teaming up with obscure Swedish glass designers Orrefors and now this! We suppose his love for trying new things is what makes his designs so successful!

We loved watching on all the promotional red carpets and we think she is definitely a style to watch out for! 8. Emma Watson was the face of Burberry as 2010 started off and she has the iconic Brit brand to thank for her fabulous wardrobe! We are so jealous of her! 7. Supermodel Claudia Schiffer made a huge comeback in 2010, she worked as a muse for Karl Lagerfeld and we think she is one of the pioneers of the glam 70's trend that is coming back next season. We love her easy, Bridget Bardot-style streetwear! 6. Carey Mulligan is the woman to watch in 2011. She took the red carpet by storm this last year and is one of the fashion world's darlings right now. It seems that everyone wants to be her right now and as the face of the next Chanel collection, we bet she is going to look even hotter this year! 2. Even though its Leighton Meester's character on Gossip Girl, Blair Waldorf that set huge trends in the past year, we think Leighton has fab style too! She is not afraid of taking risks and always stands out on the red carpet with something a little bit different. We think she going to get even more amazing with her fashion choices this year... 1. Our favorite fashionista this year by far. Olivia Palermo never puts anything on that we don't wish we owned! We would die to swop clothes with this lady! She is absolutely the number one style queen of 2010!
