The group rose to fame when they appeared as John & Edward on British The X Factor in 2009. They finished sixth and became a big favorite among young female music fans. Jedward first represented their home country Ireland in Eurovision 2011 and then again the year after. Jedward are also known for their television work, including hosting children's series Jedward's Big Adventure, OMG! Jedward's Dream Factory, and for participating in Celebrity Big Brother 8.
