Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz's spokesperson has confirmed to People that the couple was married this weekend at the Encino mansion that Ashlee's parents Joe and Tina own. Dressed in Monique Lhuillier gown and William Noble jewelry Ashlee said her wovs in front of 150 guests. Guests included her sister Jessica Simpson who was also the maid of honor, Jessica's (ex-) boyfriend Tony Romo, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden as well as actor Donald Faison and his wife CaCee Cobb. Ashlee and Pete, who are rumored to be expecting their first child, met in 2006 and got engaged last month. This is the first marriage for both of them. Congratulations!

Dressed in a cute beige and white striped dress and gigantic sunglasses Paris Hilton left a restaurant in Beverly Hills yesterday with her boyfriend Benji Madden. Around her neck Paris was sporting a necklace in the shape of a heart with a peace-sign in it which we found a little ironic. Hasn't Paris been involved in more fights than any other Hollywood-star? We guess everybody should get a second chance and maybe this is Paris' way of telling the world that she's changed her ways. Then again, last year she wore the "Vote or Die" t-shirt but didn't vote and obviously didn't die so maybe we shouldn't take her fashion statements too seriously!

This obviously sparked rumors of an engagement and when asked about it Cannon's rep replied no comments; Carey's rep could not be reached. Carmen Electra's rep announced yesterday that the actress-model is now engaged to her boyfriend Rob Patterson. Rob reportedly flew up to Las Vegas last weekend to celebrate Carmen's 36th birthday and while there popped the question and gave Carmen a black diamond engagement ring! Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria spent almost an hour in the trendy store Rumor on Ventura Boulevard yesterday trying on different ouftits and jewelry! Eva was wearing a pretty coral summer dress, gold wedges and a scarf (?) which we found a little odd, maybe her neck was cold? Eva seemed in good spirits anyway and smiled for the cameras. When the photographers asked her about her husband Tony's alleged affair she let them know that married life is great, period!
