A couple of weeks ago we revealed that Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth is getting divorced. Now it's official, Peter have filed the divorce papers in an effort to end the marriage.

Jennie and Peter will share parenting duties and plan on sharing joint custody of their three daughters. Recently, Jennie admitted that one of the reasons to the divorce is that Peter's work on the "Twilight" movies put a strain on their relationship. "He did everything he could to fly back every weekend but it took a real toll on our marriage", Jennie said. Jennie also said that Peter asked her for a divorce last fall, but it took a while for her to "come to peace with it." Poor, Jennie! They looked so happy together. (tmz)
