Wow! George Clooney's 'Hope for Haiti Now'-telethon sure managed to gather a star-studded crowd! Just look at all the celebrities who volunteered to man the phones! We bet callers were surprised to hear Charlize Theron and Leonardo DiCaprio on the other end of the line! Meanwhile Chris Martin, Beyonce, Rihanna, Jay-Z and Bono were among the artists to perform live (though they all performed via satellite from London) as George Clooney supervised the whole thing from Los Angeles!

Oscar winning actress Penelope Cruz appeared on the Letterman show last night, looking lovely as usual! While she was talking to David about what it felt like to win her first Academy Award she told this story! Penelope said she was so nervous and excited she doesn't remember much about the night, but she does remember how actor Jack Nicholson grabbed her Oscar away from her at a party and started dancing with it! A bunch of young Hollywood stars like Twilight's Ashley Greene, Beverly Hills 90210 star Shenae Grimes and Swedish starlet Malin Åkerman all got together at the Madame Taussauds Wax musuem in Hollywood last night for a good cause. They were there to support teen charity DoSomething.org , who were celebrating the power young people have to make changes in their world. Guess who everyone's favourite wax model was? None other than legendary Hollywood star Jack Nicholson! Everyone wanted to pose with him, it must be because of his big reputation as one of the most fun guys in Hollywood (not to mention a ladies'man!).

Smoking ain't good for your health Jack, you should know that!

Like many other celebrities, Jack Nicholson has gone to his favourite place to unwind: Aspen, Colorado, where he can simply enjoy the incredible winter during the Christmas holidays. The actor hung out around downtown, joking and laughing with some unknown tourists and photographers before dropping by Chepita. Jack left the jewellery store/art gallery, widely known within the Hollywood crew, with a small gift bag in his hand. Perhaps a last minute Christmas present for daughter Lorrain who also was in town?

New York Knicks played against Los Angeles Lakers at Stapels Center in LA and the stadium was crowded with celebrities. The comedian Chris Rock and the director Spike Lee were there to support the Knicks, unfortunately they lost. David Beckham has become a huge Lakers fan since he moved over the Atlantic. The Lakers best guard Nate Robinson got the chance to speak with Jack Nicholson, but Jack almost seemed more impressed by Nate.
