Heidi Montag and Spencer have been living the high life ever since The Hills became a huge success! The fame loving couple rented a $35,000 per month Malibu mansion, they spent $3 million on Heidi's disaster album after no one would sign her for a record deal and worst of all, when The Hills' last season was cut from 20 episodes to 10, Speidi had already spent the money for the last 10 episodes in advance! Of course MTV never paid them for the un-aired episodes! Ouch! Not even to mention their 7 cars!

That means the couple are now in serious debt and owe over $2 million in taxes, so there is nothing else to do. They are filing for bankruptcy and are looking at getting unemployment checks.
