As we told you last week, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt claim they are totally broke and have spent all the millions they made working for The Hillsread more here)! Heidi said she was looking into applying for unemployment checks and Spencer said his dad was giving them a small allowance to live on.
Now the couple are saying they have been offered a job in Costa Rica, the place where they were hiding out while they pretended to be broken up! Spencer claims that he has been offered by a betting website where he would be in charge of celebrity gossip and entertainment news and the salary is quite impressive too, at $100k! The only catch is, the couple have to move out of the USA and live permanently in Costa Rica - lets hope they take it! (Source: TMZ)

Heidi Montag and Spencer have been living the high life ever since The Hills became a huge success! The fame loving couple rented a $35,000 per month Malibu mansion, they spent $3 million on Heidi's disaster album after no one would sign her for a record deal and worst of all, when The Hills' last season was cut from 20 episodes to 10, Speidi had already spent the money for the last 10 episodes in advance! Of course MTV never paid them for the un-aired episodes! Ouch! Not even to mention their 7 cars!
That means the couple are now in serious debt and owe over $2 million in taxes, so there is nothing else to do. They are filing for bankruptcy and are looking at getting unemployment checks. Heidi says at their lowest point she thought of posing completely naked for Playboy but Spencer's parents begged her not to. Gotcha! For a couple who claim to fighting over their divorce Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt were looking pretty cosy in Costa Rica together this weekend at a resort! Spencer told the world that he will sell a sex tape of Heidi if she doesn't get back together with him and do a reality show, but Heidi has been refusing.
So with all this fighting, why are they together in Costa Rica? Spencer claims he was just bringing two dogs to Heidi, who is living there at the moment and Heidi says she let Spencer help her with the move and now he is refusing to leave. Oh please, when are these two just going to admit that everything they do is a publicity stunt. They have obviously been caught now!
