Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidmans adopted son Connor Cruise has decided to follow in his parents footsteps and has just been given a part in Will Smiths new movie Seven Pounds! Connor will play a younger version of Will in a relatively small part and sources tell People that Tom couldn't be prouder of his son! We know you're all thinking that it's probably not too hard to get a part in a Will Smith movie when he and your father are friends but that's where you're wrong! Connor had to audition for the part like everyone else even though we'll admit it must be easier to audition when you can bring Tom Cruise as your mentor!

The Hills star Heidi Montag was spotted in the trendy store Kison in West Hollywood when they unveiled her new clothing line HeidiWood this weekend. Heidi was wearing a Chloé dress and shoes (that we love!) and seemed overjoyed to see her collection in stores! Her boyfriend Spencer was just as happy as Heidi and was so proud he started to take pictures of his girlfriend with his Iphone. Now we'll just have to wait and see if Heidis clothes will sell because unfortunately, they weren't especially cute.

As you probably know actress Cate Blanchett gave birth to a baby boy last week and this weekend Cate left the hospital with him. Cates husband Andrew Upton and her two older sons came to pick Cate and the baby (named Ignatious) up with flowers and teddy bears in hand. Cate looked great to have just had a baby and couldn't stop smiling!

Responsible mother of two, Marcia Cross, was seen in a Santa Monica park yesterday playing with her twins Savannah and Eden. Marcia always makes sure to put hats on her children to shield them from the sun and always wears one herself since her skin is so sensitive. The Desperate Housewives star is very involved in promoting the joint program between the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and beauty brand Olay for a free skin-cancer screening program and is therefore very aware of the risks of prolonged sun exposure. We hope more parents take after her!

Beyonces younger sister Solange Knowles had her son Daniel with her ex-boyfriend Daniel Smith when she was only eighteen and knows what it's like to be a young teen mom. She recently told USmagazine.com about how most people probably figured she would be an irresponsable mother but argued that there are still 35-year old moms who can't take care of their children and it has nothing to do with age. Her advice to Jamie Lynn was to simply make sure she makes the right decisions for her, "Who are we to say what's right and wrong for a person?" We're sure Jamie Lynn will be fine but we're hoping she won't have to raise the baby on her own even though young mom Solange seems to have managed just fine!

Avril Lavigne had fun day shopping with her boyfriend Deryck Whibley and a girlfriend yesterday! Avril brought her entourage shopping in all the exlusive baby stores on Robertson Blvd in Beverly Hills including Kitson Kids, Lisa Kline Kids and Petit Tresor. Rumors that Avril Lavigne is pregnant surfaced in January but were denied by the singer. Now it seems the rumors may be true after all! Will there be an addition to the Lavigne/Whibley family soon?
