History: Hennes & Mauritz, most commonly known as H&M, is a Swedish clothing line. The company is known for its fast fashion clothing available for all ages, both men and women. H&M does actually has more than 1700 stores in 34 different countries and over 73 000 employers. It was established in Västerås, Sweden by Erling Persson in 1947 and was then only offering clothes for women. But they quickly rose in business and has through recent years collaborated exclusive collections with top designers such as Karl Lagerfeld, Victor&Rolf, Stella McCartney and Roberto Cavalli, even the singer Madonna!

Matthew Williamson is H&Ms next guest designer!

Today Swedish fashion giant Hennes & Mauritz revealed that the British celebrity designer Matthew Williamson will create its next guest collection. Williamson will start with a women's range at some stores on April 23, followed by men's and women's summer clothes to be offered from all H&M outlets from mid-May. Past H&M launches have generated turbulent scenes as shoppers sought to buy chic designs at cut-rate prices. We expect a hit after looking at the pictures of his spring and summer collection for 2009!

The H&M store at Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood was crowded with celebrities when they hosted an exclusive celebrity shopping event for their Comme des Garcons collection. Nicole Richie had the best looking outfit on but her friend Nicky Hilton also looked really hot. Mischa Barton had her new favorite accessory in her hair; feathers. Mena Suvari shopped until she dropped. Mandy Moore and Michelle Trachtenberg seemed to get along great and mingled all night. Ryan Phillippe didn't seem to enjoy the party and went home early together with his girlfriend. The beauty Jessica Stroup shined on the red carpet!

Miley Cyrus and a friend hit the stores at a Los Angeles mall. Miley wore a long black dress, gold flip flops and a Miley necklace. They went shopping at stores including H & M, Aldo Shoes, Planet Funk and Wild Pair. She and her pal then grabbed a sushi lunch before doing some more shopping. When Miley went back to the car with all her bags she was escorted by a group of security guards.
