Good Charlotte is an American band originally from Waldorf, Maryland. The name of band actually comes from the childen's book "Good Charlotte: The Girls of Good Day Orphanage" written by Carol Beach York. They started by playing at small venues by grew bigger with time and their so far biggest album was released in 2002, "The Young and the Hopeless".

Somehow we doubt this was a romantic date! Everyone knows Samantha Ronson isn't exactly crazy about guys in that way! As you know Benji is a musician in the band Good Charlotte and Samantha is a DJ so they must have a lot to talk about in the music world! Wouldn't it be fun if Samantha and Benji mixed some music together, we think that is probably exactly what that date was all about and that's it. Makes for a nice change in Hollywood when a guy and girl are really just friends!

Brothers Joel Madden and Benji Madden played a live concert this weekend in Ventura, California with their band Good Charlotte. The brothers are so popular with the girls now that they are famous, (despite the fact that Joel is with Nicole Richie), that their usually male audience was full of screaming girls! Joel even joked about it, saying that if he had known their would be so many girls, he would have worn a tie and dressed up a bit more! They are so cute! Here is a clip from the show:

Poor Benji Madden! The Good Charlotte rocker is far away from his hometown LA in the Big Apple at the moment and he doesn't seem to be enjoying the experience much! He got a little lost in the West Village and had to resort to asking a passerby for directions. Benji looked a bit embarrassed to be caught by the paps, but we don't think he should, his little boy lost face is pretty cute! He should have just asked the paps where to go, they must know their way around town really well!

Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden played in a charity match between Hollywood United and Champions United. Benji tries to keep himself busy since the break up from Paris Hilton. Wonder if it's sadness in his eyes? This was probably the first time we have seen him without a cap or sunglasses, and it actually looks a little bit scary!
