Singer Michael George appeared in court this week and pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis and driving under the influence. George checked himself into rehab following his car crash in July of last year and is now breaking the silence thru an open letter to his fans on his website.
"I want to thank you all sincerely, and also to reassure those of you who worry so much for me. I fully appreciate the seriousness of my current situation, for which I truly apologise (...) Personal problems which I had tried to deal with myself had clearly got the better of me, and I am sorry that my pride has prevented me from seeking help before now".
George will appear in court again in September to hear his sentence and may face prison time but we just hope this acts as a wake up call for the singer and that he can recover now! (Source: Wenn)
