Gene Simmons is mostly known as The Demon: the bassist in the rockgroup Kiss. He was given the name Chaim Witz at his birth, but changed to Gene Simmons in adulthood to honor the rockabilly performer Jumpin' Gene Simmons.

Gene Simmons claims that he never has been drunk, high or smoked. He has two children together with former Playboymodel Shannon Tweed. He is also known for his political involvement.

There sure are a lot of weird events going on in Hollywood but at least this one was for charity! The 'Rally for Kids with Cancer' Kick-Off Party was held at the Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles yesterday and there to show their support were stars like Gene Simmons and Tony and Eva Longoria Parker! Tony and Eva looked especially cute, hugging on the red carpet but Bai Ling still managed to steal their thunder by posing provocatively by the Kiss car!
