Freida Pinto started her career as a model in Bombay where she was signed to famous agency Elite Model Management. Her big break came in 2008 when Hollywood director Danny Boyle chose her to play the role of Latika in his movie Slumdog Millionaire. The movie went on to win 8 Oscars amongst others and launched the Freida Pinto's and co'star Dev Patel's careers.

Gwyneth Paltrow, who is the face of a few of Estee Lauder's perfumes, is apparantly feeling a bit threatened by this news! The story is that she is afraid Freida will replace her! We think this is very childish of Gwyn! How boring would Estee Lauder ads be if all we ever saw was Gwyneth's face?!(Daily Maiil)
