Frances Bean Cobain's mother Courtney Love recently told the reporters at The Daily Mail that Summit had offered her daughter (who by the way has no prior acting experience) the role of Bella Swan but that she had turned it down since she didn't want to become famous or miss out on college. TV actress Danielle Panabaker was a fan-favorite for the part before the casting had been finalized, and rumor has it that she also auditioned but ultimately lost the role to Kristen Stewart. "Sucker Punch" star Emily Browning was revealed to be Twilight author Stephanie Mayer's first choice for the role, and was asked by Summit to audition for the role. At the time Emily was in the middle of filming another movie, and decided that signing on for a trilogy would leave her with too little spare time to spend with her family and friends, so she declined to audition. "Gossip Girl" star Michelle Trachtenberg knew Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke since the movie Thirteen, and was offered the role up front. She turned it down because of two reasons; scheduling conflicts and the fact that she was fed up with vampires after having worked on the show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" for three years. "Gilmore Girls" star Alexis Bledel was another heavy fan-favorite for the role prior to the casting. Summit is rumored to have contacted her about the role, but her reasons for turning it down are unknown.
Many couldn't dream of anyone other than Kristen Stewart playing the role of vampire lover Bella Swan in the Twilight Saga, while others watch the movies with one eye closed to only be able to experience what they consider to be the better half, aka Robert Pattinson.

Heather Locklear was arrested in 2008 for driving under the influence of drugs and earlier the same year she checked herself into rehab for problems with anxiety and depression after she tried to commit suicide. In a voice mail Alec Baldwin left to his 11-year old daughter, Ireland, he called her “A rude, thoughtless little pig.”, and continued with “You don’t have the brains or the decency as a human being,”. And the reason for his anger? Ireland didn't answer his phone call! Frances Bean Cobain's father, Kurt Cobain, committed suicide when she was only 2 years old and was left in the care of her crazy mother, Courtney Love. At the time Courtney struggled with drug addiction and legal issues! Poor Frances Bean!

Even though Frances Bean Cobain's dad died when she was little we can still see a bit of him in her! Yesterday we spotted Frances leaving a movie theatre at The Grove in LA wearing a vintage tee, leg warmers, lace stockings and boots looking grunge just the way her dad did back in the day!

Courtney Love recently revealed that she knows who Summits first choice to play Isabella Swan of the highly popular Twilight movies was! Wanna take a guess? Well... it turns it it was none other than her daughter Frances Bean Cobain! Frances was apparently offered the sought after role but turned it down since she had no interest in becoming famous.

Courtney said "Frances is so beautiful, but she doesn't want to be famous. She was offered the part of Bella in the Twilight movies, and Tim Burton wanted her for Alice in Wonderland. But she wants to go to college: she's very good at graphic novels. Frances will be fine, it'll be fine."
