Hannah Montana starlet Miley Cyrus joined up with her mother, Tish, as well as her brother and sisters for a shopping trip to Guitar Center in Los Angeles. The family later made a stop at the Cheese Cake Factory and grabbed desert at the Ice Cream Parlor. Meanwhile, the 15-year-old Disney teen queen is basking in the fact that she picked up her first MTV VMA nomination for Best New Artist for her hit song 7 Things! She was looking good in her black dress and red shoes!

X-Men actor Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness threw a colourful 3rd birthday party for their adopted daughter, Ava. Friends and family came along to the party which was decorated with pink balloons and a soldier statue. The three year old was delighted with her Dora the Explorer hellium balloon! Several celebrities were present, amongst them Sarah Murdoch, wife of Lachlan Murdoch, turned up at the party with her two sons, Kalan and Aidan

They finally did it! "Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were married tonight in an intimate ceremony at their home in Los Angeles," according to their spokesperson. De Rossi wore a backless, light pink dress, and her hair in a loose updo while DeGeneres dressed in pants, button-up shirt and vest, all in white. DeGeneres, 50, and de Rossi, 35, both wore Zac Posen and exchanged rings by Neil Lane during the Saturday ceremony. Their big day also featured arrangements by L.A. florist Mark's Garden. The intimate ceremony was attended by 19 guests, including DeGeneres's mom Betty and de Rossi's mother Margaret Rogers (who flew in from Australia for the occasion), who witnessed the couple exchange handwritten vows. The couple have been dating since December 2004. DeGeneres announced her plans to wed de Rossi during a taping of her talk show in May after California's Supreme Court ruled a previous ban on gay marriage to be unconstitutional. The following month de Rossi showed off a 3-carat diamond ring set on a pink pavé band DeGeneres presented to her for their upcoming nuptials when the pair attended the Daytime Emmy Awards together. "She's taught me lessons about myself, and I feel like I've taught her," the TV host said of de Rossi last year. According to Usmagazine.com, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are getting married this weekend in California. It's going to be a small, intimate ceremony with only a few close friends and family. The couple has been dating since December 2004 and waited for gay marriage to be legal for a long time. Ellen says "It's something that we've wanted to do and we want it to be legal and we are very, very excited". Congratulations!
