Maybe it's not the biggest surprise, but we're slightly shocked: George Clooney broke up with Elisabetta Canalis. They were together for two years and recently Elisabetta started speaking publicly about how she wanted to be married, in fact, she was recently quoted as saying, "I am a firm believer in marriage, in the future I will be married..." As Hollywood's favorite bachelor, George probably ran scared when he heard that Elisabetta was hinting towards a ring.
Anyways, it sounds like Elisabetta is pretty heartbroken, her publicist said, "It is a very personal and sad matter and Elisabetta wants it to remain that way. She will be taking some time...and then she will face the press." Sounds like Elisabetta could use a pint of ice cream and some sappy rom-coms to help cheer her up. (people)

Though George Clooney's father Nick has said he still has hopes that his son will get hitched again one day George recently revealed in an interview with Piers Morgan that he's not interested in getting married again. The actor was maried to Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993 and says, "I hate to blow your whole new story, but I was married, so I gave it a shot". We just hope girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis is aware of that!

Wow, George Clooney must really be in love with his Italian girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis because we have never seen him like this. He is usually an intensely private person and would never dream of attending something like a front at Milan Fashion Week, but here he is, with Elisabetta, posing for pictures! They seem really happy together, we never thought we would see George the "forever bachelor" like this! In fact they looked way more comfortable with each other in front of the cameras than newly weds Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green who were also sitting on the same Armani front row! Have a look!
