Ed Westwick began his career as a singer in the band The filthy Youth among other things, the film music for the Children of men. Finally, the acting took too much time and he therefore chose to put the music on the shelf. His greatest success so far is the one rich man's son Chuck Bass in the mega-hit Gossip Girl. Ed Westwick is like many other actor trained at the renowned National Youth Theater in London. He has two older brothers, love to work in the garden and sees music as his salvation.

Spoiler alert! If you don't want to know anything about what might happen in Gossip Girl later on in the season, don't look at these pictures! We spotted Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick filming scenes in Manhattan for the the latest season of Gossip Girl and it looks like it might be a reunion for these two. They have their arms around each other and are looking all coupley again! Here is hoping its not the end for them!

GQ Magazine in London held their annual Man of the Year Awards last night and as usual the event was packed full hot male celebrities and a few lovely female stars too! Mad Men hottie Jon Hamm won the big award, he was named International Man of the Year, while Gossip Girl's Ed Westwick won the breakout star award. Giorgio Armani was given the honour of designer of the year and Gemma Arterton is GQ's woman of the year. Take a look at what everyone was wearing below!

So we know Gossip Girl stars Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr have had their problems over the last year and there have been rumors of fights and cheating and breakups, but we keep seeing them together, like just last week they were kissing in public at the US Open Tennis matches for everyone to see, so they are together of course right? That's what we thought too, but according to Ed he is single!
In an interview with British magazine "Closer" this month Ed announced that he is definitely single and that American girls are all over him, especially with his English accent, but that he doesn't have time for romance. What? We hope Jessica knows this too Ed! (Source:Wenn)

It's weird seeing Ed Westwick all stripped down like this when we're so used to seeing him dressed to his toes as business mogul Chuck Bass in Gossip Girl! When he was leaving Café Med in Los Angeles last Friday he looked nothing like Chuck, in fact he looked the screaming opposite dressed in a loose fitting shirt that showed off his chest hair, a dirty hat, silver bracelets and Ray-Bans!
