Ed Westwick began his career as a singer in the band The filthy Youth among other things, the film music for the Children of men. Finally, the acting took too much time and he therefore chose to put the music on the shelf. His greatest success so far is the one rich man's son Chuck Bass in the mega-hit Gossip Girl. Ed Westwick is like many other actor trained at the renowned National Youth Theater in London. He has two older brothers, love to work in the garden and sees music as his salvation.

Ed Westwick, Blake Lively and Leighton Meester walk from their trailers on the set of Gossip Girl in the Chelsea district of Manhattan. It has been rumored that there is some tension between some of the actors. Blake and Leighton seems to get along great, but Ed looks a bit grumpy. It's ok Ed, we can comfort you!

Ed and his co-star Leighton Meester looked very happy even though the New York weather was anything but good. On the other hand, what's not to be happy about; they're young, rich and part of the most successful TV-show on TV today!

We know that Chuck normally never would wear that outfit, especially that hat, and he would never be so unshaved. On other thing is that Chuck doesn't spend time outside Upper East Side, so what is he doing in Brooklyn? Is Chuck poor?

Last night the new Batman movie The Dark Knight premiered in New York and naturally a whole slew of A-list celebrities showed up on the red carpet! Blake Lively and Ed Westwick represented Gossip Girl, Lauren Conrad represented The Hills and Christian Bale, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Michael Caine, well, they're in the movie! Everyone smiled for the cameras and seemed to be having a good time but unfortunately the premiere was somewhat overshadowed by the fact that Heath Ledger couldn't be there. His family had however flewn in from Australia to see their son in his last ever performance.

Blake Lively, Chace Crawford and the rest of the Gossip Girl cast are now back in New York City to film new episodes for the TV-show. That means summer vacation is over for Blair and Serena's group of friends and we're guessing Season 2 has a whole lot of drama in store for us! Rumor has it that Nate Archibald, played by Crawford, has a new love interest played by actress Mädchen Amick who some of you may recognize from the TV-show "Freddie".
