Dolce & Gabbana

1985
Milan, Italy
Domenico Dolce (founder), Stefano Gabbana (founder)
Dolce & Gabbana is a relatively new italian fashion house. The company has divided itself into two central lines: Dolce&Gabbana and D&G where the first is specialized within luxury items and is described as "timeless", responding to long-term changes and not the seasonal changes. D&G on the other is a more casual line and urban inspired for the younger peer group, prefering to set the trends instead of following them.

Her floral dress was the center of attention!
We love Katy Perry no matter what she is wearing, but it's not every day we get the chance to see her in a show-stopping number like this! The singer attended at The Dream Foundation's 11th Annual Celebration of Dreams Gala this weekend wearing a floral Dolce and Gabbana gown that showcased her incredible curves. We can't stop watching. Wow, Katy!

If we didn't know these pictures were from a photo shoot we'd be wondering what the heck Beyonce was doing! The singer posed in a Gucci dress on the balcony of the Ritz hotel in Paris yesterday for an editorial shoot for Harper's Bazaar. Beyonce did all kinds of strange poses including sticking her clenched fist up in the air but we'll have to wait for an explanation until the issue comes out!

Which designer is REALLY your style?

Sunday 11:31 AM, 06/03/2011
Zac Posen is Hollywood's little darling. But not only because of his amazing creations. He has a super-sexy charisma as well! Christopher Kane has that British gentleman thing about him. Sweet yet sexy. Stefano Gabbana is the taller and sexier half of the Dolce & Gabbana duo. He is for those who like their men tanned, tall and muscular! Matthew Williamson has a mystery to him. His looks attract the dark and unknown side in us. Christopher Bailey, of Burberry, is the charming one of the lot! His boyish and sweet face can make anyone's heart melt!
Not only are the words famous designers that have every woman longing to wear their creations, but they are also ridiculously-ridiculously good loo...READ MORE ▶

The Oscar For Best Dressed Actress Goes To.....

Monday 11:11 AM, 28/02/2011
Melissa Leo wore a floral crochet/cut out short-sleeved Mark Bouwer gown...we don't love it really...but its not so horrible either... Everyone says Jennifer Lawrence was a knockout in this red Calvin Klein, we think she could've done more Amy Adams in blue sequinned L'Wren Scott. We love the dress but the jewelry was all wrong Cate Blanchett went all high fashion in this complicated textured dress from Givenchy's latest collection Jennifer Hudson was dramatic in this statement burnt orange Versace Gwyneth Paltrow, we loved! This metallic Calvin Klein is a perfect fit for her Natalie Portman was adorable mommy-to-be in this berry colored Rodarte dress Scarlett Johansson Dolce & Gabbana dress, in a similar color to Natalie's kind of kicked ass, but Scarlett's hair ruined it for her! We hated this vintage Charles James on Marisa Tomei. Its probably a lovely dress, just not on her! Sharon Stone was totally overdone. She looked like the evil queen from snow white in this goth-like dress with the huge bouffant hairdo Break out young star Hailee Steinfeld again was perfect for her age in this soft pink Marchesa princess dress. So pretty! We loved Michelle Williams in this Chanel gown, but we are bored with her in this color and style Florence Welch in a yellow tiered gown, we were not impressed either Mandy Moore went for this romantic look in Monique Lhullier, but if it wasn't for that bright lipstick, the color would have washed her out Russell Brand brought his mom and she looked hot in lace! Helen Bonham Carter wore this kind of fugly gown by costume designer Collen Atwood Celine Dion looked a little out-dated in a white long sleeve Armani Prive gown Hugh Jackman is so hot, what is he doing with frumpy and strange-looking Deborra-Lee Furness? It must be love! Hilary Swank nailed it on the red carpet as usual in this sparkly Gucci gown with the feather details Wow Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz on the red carpet together! She is one hot mamma just a month after giving birth! Of all the fab Christian Dior gowns out there, why did Nicole Kidman choose this one? We hate the hair too! Helen Mirren perfect as usual in Vivienne Westwood Yay Halle Berry is back! This Marchesa gown was hot hot hot on her! Camila Alves went for simple and but still high drama with the full skirt. We love this look for her Christian Bale's girlfriend Sandra Blazic is the perfect date as she looked elegant without upstaging him with her dress Sandra Bullock in Vera Wang, we don't know why, but we are not excited, although there is nothing wrong and she looks good! Reese Witherspoon having a sixties moment in black Armani Prive Anne Hathaway in classic Valentino red. Gorgeous!
Maybe we were too excited about the Oscars and all the build up to the event, but we were kind of disappointed with the red carpet last night. We weren't totally amazed and blown away as usual! There was a great mixture of nudes, metallics, bright colors and strong black gowns, but nothing cutting edge or special. The girls who really stood out for us were, Gwyneth Paltrow, Halle Berry, Anne Hathaway and of course Mila Kunis, who had to be the night's best dressed...do you agree? Who did you love and hate? Discuss below!

This Week's Best Dressed Celebrities

Monday 10:02 PM, 31/01/2011
8. Whitney Port was cut and sparkly in this pastel colored mini with the silver clutch. Her hair is amazing this color as well! 7. Gemma Arterton makes ethnic glam! Those shoes are pretty spectacular don't you think? 6. Leighton Meester shows just about the most perfect cut-out dress we have ever seen. Its Michael Kors and we want one! 5. Watch out world here comes Lou Dillon, the most laid back, cool fashionista of them all! She is effortlessly edgy in Chanel 4. Thandie Newton pops in just the right amount of colour. We think the white shoes were a clever break from the usual black that would have matched the belt and the clutch. 3. Jessica Alba was all grown up glam in this sparkling Gucci asymmetric mini dress. Many have said Jessica's new shorter hairdo makes her look too old, but we like the sophisticated change! 2. Kate Bosworth is adorable in this floral and lace belted Dolce & Gabbana dress. Spring is in the air people! 1. Alexa Chung stole the show at Chanel in this look. Menswear doesn't have to manly ladies, look how ultra femme this, but still menswear trendy! Love her!
On the streets, on the red carpet and siting front row at a fashion show, these celebrities look their best and never fail to impress us with their style. Icons like Kate Moss, Jessic Alba and Alexa Chung are all here to show you what a fabulous means!
