History: Dior, also known as Christian Dior, is a high-fashion clothing retailer whereas the the label is the namesake of designer Christian Dior who launched the haute couture empire in 1946. Maison de Dior owns today 42% of the major luxury company Moët Henessy-Louis Vuitton. Manufacturing everything from the world's most coveted haute couture to luxury prêt-à-porter, Christian Dior operates about 160 boutiques all over the world and is planning to be opening more in the near future.

Christian Dior started the fashion week in Paris. The models displays a creation by the British designer John Galliano for Christian Dior's spring/summer 2009 Ready-to-Wear collection show. On the front row we saw the dark-haired beauties Katy Perry, Lily Allen and Dita Von Teese.
