THEN: Jennifer Aniston played the spoiled brat Rachel Greene who moved to her friend Monica in New York City. NOW: Jennifer has the most successful acting career out of all the Friends today. She's done tons of romantic comedies and recently got her own Hollywood Walk of Fame star. THEN: How you doin? Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc) was the playboy of the group. NOW: Since the show, Matt has starred in two tv-shows. Right after Friends he got his own spin-off show that simply was called Joey. The sohw was about Joey when he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career, and it did pretty well. From season 1. THEN: The humoristic Chandler Bing was one of the audience's favorites, and he was played by Matthew Perry. NOW: Matthew has had problems with drinking, but he's been in many movies during. One of the biggest movies he's been in lately was 17 Again, co-starring Zac Efron. They made us laugh for 10 years! THEN: Monica Geller was portrayed by Courteney Cox. She was the hysterical sister of Ross who loved to clean. NOW: Courteney got her first Golden Globe nomination for TV series Cougar Town. She's been in several movies, and has had many recurring roles on television series. THEN: Lisa Kudrow played Phoebe Buffay, the hippie of the group who the audience fell for right away. NOW: Lisa's acting career has continued, but her biggest success is still Friends. She's appeared in movies such as PS. I Love You, The Other Woman and Happy Endings. She''s also had a recurring role on the tv show The Comeback. THEN: Ross Geller. Ah, do we have to say any more? Crazy, cute and smart. He had it all, and David Schwimmer played the role as him for 10 years. NOW: David hasn't been seen himself in many movies since the show ended, but we guess you'd recognize his voice in Madagascar. For three movies he's been playing the giraffe that makes everyone laugh. Rachel, Ross, Monica, Joey, Phoebe and Chandler.
We still remember the last episode of Friends as if we saw it yesterday- but it's already been 8 years since the show ended! Crazy! The show made them all millionaires, but what are the stars of up to today? Click on the pics and see what happened to Joey, Chandler, Rachel, Monica, Phoebe and Ross!

Jennifer Aniston has had the most successful career after "Friends." She's starred in several great movies and she's been on 165 magazine covers. She currently starred in the movie "Horrible Bosses" and is dating actor, Justin Theroux. After "Friends" ended Courteney Cox did a few movies but later returned to TV. She played the new chief of surgery in the TV show "Scrubs" and now stars in hit show, "Cougar Town." Of the three guys, Matthew Perry has had the most successful career. He's been in both movie and TV roles. You might remember him from the movie "17 Again" with Zac Efron. He also did the voice for Benny in the video game Fallout: New Vegas! Lisa Kudrow hasn't had the smash hit career like Jennifer Aniston, but she has starred in popular movies like" "P.S. I Love You," "Easy A" and "The Other Woman." In these movies she has worked with top actors like Robert DeNiro, Emma Stone and Hilary Swank. We can't really say Matt LeBlanc has aged gracefully. He played the sweet but stupid ladies man Joey on "Friends" and when the tv-series ended he continued with the show "Joey" where he played the same character, with different scenery and co-stars. Unfortunately it was not a big hit! David Schwimmer stays pretty hidden from the public eye these days. We rarely see him on TV! But we hear him all the time, David has been the voice of Melman the Giraffe in all four Madagascar movies! Jennifer Aniston became the star of the show! Friends gave us 10 seasons of laughter The girl trio of Friends!
It's been years since the TV show, Friends, has ended but it's still considered one of the most popular shows ever! The characters, plots, and jokes will never be forgotten! We Didn't Hook Up On Set!

Don't you think Emma Stone and Penn Badgley would have been a great couple? They both seem so down to earth!

Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal were fantastic in "Love And Other Drugs" and we believe they would be a fantastic real life couple too! Is it just us who thought that after her divorce from Brad, Jennifer Aniston should have gone for her Friends colleague, David Schwimmer? Our favorite couple on GG is Chuck and Blair. Can you imagine what an amazing couple Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick would be? Vanessa Hudgens fell in love with Zac Efron during HSM and Alex Pettyfer with Dianna Agron on "I Am Number Four". With those relationships behind them, maybe V and A should date each other! Something was obviously going on between Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf but it never really bloomed out, we wished it did!
Celebrities fall in love with each other on set all the time. And we can't blame them! Wouldn't you also fall head over heels if you had to spend all your days with someone like, Jake Gyllenhaal as your on set boyfriend? We definitely would!

But Anne Hathaway didn't! And she's not alone! Not everyone falls in love with their co-stars but that doesn't stop us from fantasizing about some on screen romances that we wish would've happened off screen! Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, and Matt LeBlanc! How I Met Your Mother is our absolute favorite TV show right now. We can't wait to see who the mother is! Josh Radnor, Cobie Smulders, Jason Segel, Alyson Hannigan, and Neil Patrick Harris!
How do you create the most popular TV show? Well, you need a group of funny, good looking individuals...preferably five or six. They all need different characteristics (hot, funny, geeky) and then you need a cool apartment and a fun place to hang out (coffee shop or pub). And there you have it! All the ingredients for a successful show!

Both "Friends" and "How I Met Your Mother" follow this recipe and we love them equally! Maybe because they are so alike? But which one of these shows is your favorite?
