A source divulged: "Chris told her that he felt like he's grown up in the past year. He's said he's so happy to be back in touch with her. They were each other's first love and he's missed her so much. Rihanna knows that if she wanted him back, he'd be there in a second."

Rihanna was reportedly very touched by Chris passionate performance at the BET Awards so she called him up and they've kept in touch over phone ever since. They're also planning to meet up but it's a difficult task since Chris probation states that he can't step within 100 yards of her!
