Now that singer Chris Brown's court case for the assault against ex girlfriend Rihanna is over, he is finally speaking out! Chris seems to be making up for lost time as he has been on a media frenzy this week, apologising and setting the record straight! One of the things Chris spoke about this week is his upset with talk show queen Oprah Winfrey. When news hit that Chris had hit Rihanna, Oprah dedicated a whole show to domestic violence and spoke out heavily agains men who hit women. Chris says he has done alot for Oprah's charities over the years and would have appreciated a little more helpful towards Chris. Oprah has now released a statement back at Chris saying she hopes he gets the counselling he needs. Don't mess with Oprah Chris, she is a powerful lady! (Source: E!)

Does Chris Brown really not remember assaulting Rihanna on that horrible night in February this year? Last night during his first real interview since the attack and since the court case has been closed, Chris Brown appeared on Larry King to tell his side of the story. Chris's mom and his lawyer were there too. While talking to Larry, Chris said at one point that he doesn't remember what he actually did that night and it is shocking for him ot hear the police reports. Everyone is talking about whether Chris Brown really can't remember or if he was just trying to avoid answering difficult questions about that night. Chris is now saying that he didn't think it was fair on Rihanna to talk about exactly what happened to her that night so he didn't want to answer the question, he is not trying to avoid responsibility by saying he doesn't remember. Now that he has pleaded guilty to his assault and has been given his punishment, singer Chris Brown is allowed to tell his side of the story. Chris says he is not an abuser, his mother was in an abusive relationship when Chris was young and he promises he is not the same as his step-father. Chris Brown has finally had his day in court and has been given his punishment for his assault on ex girlfriend Rihanna. If Chris is feeling sad about the court order that does not allow him to contact or come near Rihanna for another 5 years, he is not showing it at all! The night after his court appearance, Chris went out to Hollywood club Guys and Dolls with a huge entourage of mostly girls and partied the night away! Many people feel like he is not showing enough sorriness for what he did, but as long as he does his punishment community service time, who cares how much he party's afterwards?

After months of delaying, singer Chris Brown was finally handed his punishment yesterday for his assault against ex girlfriend, pop singer Rihanna at a Los Angeles court. The judge sentenced Chris to 6 months labour and community service instead of jail time and he will also have to take a 1 year anger management class. On top of all that Chris was ordered to not contact or come near Rihanna for 5 years (except of course at industry events)! Even though Rihanna's lawyer requested that this restraining order be removed, the judge is sticking by her ruling. Case closed! (Source: People)

Chris Brown shot a music video on the streets of Hollywood yesterday featuring singer Keri Hilson. The shoot looked like loads of fun and everyone seemed to be having a blast, especially Chris, who has basically been in hiding since his assault on ex girlfriend Rihanna earlier this year. For the shoot, Chris was wearing a yellow Billionaire Boys Club cap designed by Pharrell Williams. The Billionaire's club is named after a group of rich Californian men who formed a social club in the 1980's. All the men in the club had been involved in various crimes including beatings. Not cool Chris!
