Chanel was created by the famous fashionista Coco Chanel. The Parisian fashion house is specialized in luxury goods such as haute couture, ready-to-wear, handbags, perfumery and cosmetics amongst others. Maison de Chanel has through successful years become to be one of the most recognized names in luxury and haute couture fashion. The well-known signature Chanel logotype (see picture), was originally founded by Coco Chanel and didn't become a trademake until the opening of the first Chanel stores.

We loved Natalie Portman in this white, godess-like strapless gown by Azarro. A look fit for a winner! Nicole Kidman is almost always elegantly chic, this Nina Ricci was great for her body. We loved this floral belted gown by Louis Vuitton that Claire Danes wore too! January Jones took a break from her go to designer Versace and wore Carolina Herrera for the first time. We have to say it, she looks a lot more classy than usual, but much older too.... Kim Kardashian loves her dramatic fashion and this detailed Marchesa gown is perfect for her! Glee star Jane Lynch has been wearing gowns on the red carpet this season instead of her usual pants suits. At first we loved her girlier look, but this purple layered gown is a bit much! Julia Stiles kept it simple and fuss free, without being boring in this blue-toned Monique Lhuillier dress Sofia Vergara is a bright bombshell in this blue Cavalli gown that hugs her curves in all the right places! Angie Harmon's pink Monique Lhullier gown has definitely been seen on the red carpet before....oops! Glee's Amber Riley was all glammed up in black with frill details Glee star Jenna Ushkovits goes gold! Breakout star Jennifer Laurence stood out from the crowd in this hot pink Oscar de la Renta dress with the black bow-belt. Naya Rivera shows off her body in this nude gown that looks as if it was poured onto her - hotness! Winona Ryder looked like an awkward bride in this white tiered dress Amy Adams went for a clean, draped against the body, white gown by Herve Leroux. We were not crazy about her hair like this, she looks too severe. Rosario Dawson fresh as a daisy in lemon yellow J.Mendel! Helena Bonham Carter in another kookie-cool look. This one by Marc Jacobs. Hilary Swank is near perfection in Versace! Maybe a different lipstick could have livened up the look a bit though...? We thought this Romona Keveza gown was a bit awkward on Heather Morris, she should wear a younger, funkier style! Leah Michele from Glee showing off some serious skin in Oscar de la Renta! Jenna Fisher could've made so much more effort with her color choice and hairdo. Smiling big helps too! We are in love with this red printed strapless gown by Alexander McQueen on Mila Kunis. This is probably our favorite of the night! Eva Longoria went super-sexy in this daring cut-out Georges Hobeika gown Winnder Pas De La Hueta has a style all of her own and she was really rocking this bronze gown! Glee's Dianna Agron is the perfect lady in this dark blue sparkly Chanel tea-length dress. Jayma Mays in Jenny Packham. Sweet as usual.

Wow, things must be getting serious with these two! Just a few months ago Cameron Diaz and New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez would hardly even admit to knowing each other, but now they are travelling to Paris together as a couple! We can only think this means they have taken their on/off romance to the next level. This must mean Cam and A-Rod are officially a couple now!

Ashley Tisdale isn't usually this camera shy so we're guessing she wasn't feeling all that hot when she left the gym in Toluca Lake yesterday morning! The actress was carrying her gym shoes and a water bottle and at the same time trying to hide her face with her Chanel bag! Multitasking at its best!

We spotted cutie Rachel Bilson picking up food from a café yesterday after having done some intense shopping at the Chanel boutique in Los Angeles. She was prancing around the sunny streets in a fabulous cold weather outfit with a big smile on her face and a shopping bag filled to the limit with Chanel goodies. Talk about a perfect afternoon!
