Chanel was created by the famous fashionista Coco Chanel. The Parisian fashion house is specialized in luxury goods such as haute couture, ready-to-wear, handbags, perfumery and cosmetics amongst others. Maison de Chanel has through successful years become to be one of the most recognized names in luxury and haute couture fashion. The well-known signature Chanel logotype (see picture), was originally founded by Coco Chanel and didn't become a trademake until the opening of the first Chanel stores.

This has been a good week with lots of nice fashion pics. We've chosen quite a fex outfits in black and white, but not at all boring though. Models seem to be overrepresented this week and among our favorites are Alexa Chung and Agyness Deyn. This weeks no 1 is a true Posh24-favourite!

It's always nice to get dressed up to go shopping and when the trip includes a stop at the ever exclusive Chanel, well it's almost a must! At least that's what Ciara thinks as she looked unusually chic while shopping at the Chanel store on Robertson Boulevard in Beverly Hills. The singer emerged from the star two shoppings bags richer and a few thousand dollars poorer!

Who knew reality TV star and socialite Kim Kardashian's new blonde hair could cause so much chaos! News got around that Kim was shopping at Fred Segal on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood yesterday afternoon and so the paparazzi came swarming to catch a glimpse of Kim with her new lighter look! The poor girl could hardly move to get to her car and then she was stuck for ages without being able to drive while they snapped her inside! She was probably hoping no one would recognise her with the new locks, but actually its had the opposite affect, everyone is staring at Kim now!
