Chanel was created by the famous fashionista Coco Chanel. The Parisian fashion house is specialized in luxury goods such as haute couture, ready-to-wear, handbags, perfumery and cosmetics amongst others. Maison de Chanel has through successful years become to be one of the most recognized names in luxury and haute couture fashion. The well-known signature Chanel logotype (see picture), was originally founded by Coco Chanel and didn't become a trademake until the opening of the first Chanel stores.

Former Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan seems to have lost her way a bit since being fired from the hit TV show! We saw her exercises some interesting fashion choices in West Hollywood yesterday! She went on a shopping spree wearing her flannel pajama pants and sheepskin slippers! We really hope there is some kind fashion emergency explanation for this strange behaviour from usually stylish Nicollette! Amazing how celebrities can be allowed into boutiques like Ralph Lauren and Chanel wearing sleep wear!

9. Actress Chrystee Pharris really wanted to be noticed on the red carpet this week, so she really went all out! We think she could have done without the feathers at the bottom of her pants though!

8. British Royal Sarah Ferguson, or Fergie as most know her, has never really been known as a fashionista and this dress shows why. With all of her experience with dressing for events, we would have thought she knew what flattered her figure by now! 7. Meg Ryan has quirkly style, but this dress in not exactly unique, we have seen this fabric on a few sofas before! Not a great look for her! 6. We get Jackie Cave's Topshop girlie outfit, but really there is way too much going on here! Definitely taking off one or two of these very loud patterns would have helped this fashion emergency situation! 4. Oh Phoebe Price! We know she dresses like this on purpose to be noticed, but its not stylish, no matter which way you look at it! We have a tip, take it down a few notes and she might just end up on the best dressed lists and make her get noticed for the right reasons! 3. We love Rihanna's risk-taking style usually, but even she gets it wrong sometimes. We don't love this slashed zebra stripe dress at all! 2. Taylor Momsen looks like she got dressed in the dark. Her hair is straggly, she is not wearing anything under her shirt lingerie stockings and its not even buttoned properly. We hear Taylor has been hanging out with Lilo lately, and it shows in her style choices! 2. Lily Allen is on the list because she committed one of the biggest fashion crimes there are. Wear clothes that fit ladies, too-tight dresses are always going to make you look bad! 1. Bai Ling came dressed to the Sonia Rykiel for H&M launch party in Paris like a punky disco chicken and it wasn't pretty! But we are sure Bai thought it was fabulous and that is why she is our number 1 this week!
We have some classic advice for this week's worst dressed celebrity's straight from fashion icon Coco Chanel herself. Before you leave the house, take off the last accessory you added to your outfit and then your look will be complete! This rule would really have helped to rescue Phoebe Price for instance, but the opposite is also true for Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen, who seems to have forgotten her pants! Chanel fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, has designed a special collection for the luxury brand this year, inspired by the East! Last in Shanghai, China, models walked in a catwalk show at the famous Shanghai Pudong panorama. We thought the collection was gorgeous, Karl Lagerfeld really is a master! He was of course there to close the show in all his fabulous glory too! Take a look these pics from the runway!

We haven't seen much of Mischa Barton since the disaster with her latest TV show "The Beautiful Life" being cancelled after just one episode a few months back, but here she is in Beverly Hills yesterday doing what she does best: shopping! Mischa stopped by the Oscar Generale Showroom and pro that she is she kept a smile on her face as soon as she spotted the cameras on her. Mischa looked cute as usual in her funky personal style, we love that kiss necklace!

British singer Pixie Lott looked young and fun in her sparkly dress with the flowers in her hair this week. She is really becoming one to watch when it comes to London fashion! Model Chanel Iman really lived up to her high fashion name in this pretty metallic and pink outfit! She is young and pretty and chic as usual! Cold Case star Kathryn Morris shows its not so hard to update the trendy 80's look this season. We love the red dress and the little black belt! Wow, Jennifer Lopez almost always gets it right! This Herve Leger by Max Azria dress fits her perfectly and we love that she wore it with those sexy boots! The bracelets are a fab extra too! Ginnifer Goodwin shows classic style always works well on the red carpet. She looks gorgeous in this white and black A-Line dress with the tiered skirt detail. We also love her pixie-cut hairdo! Kate Beckinsale loves fashion and she is always dressed beautifully. We love this one-shoulder draped dress and her updo! Reese Witherspoon knows how to take a bit of fashion risk, but make it look like a classic. This silver and black dress really works for her! Congratulations Kim Kardashian, we are so in love with this look! From the colour, to the fit, to the sassy little belt and the lace and leather sleeve detail, it all pops!
