Rum Diaries actress Amber Heard made a big announcement this weekend at the Gay and Lesbian Hollywood organisation GLAAD's 25th anniversary celebration! She made a speech and came out out the closet with a bang!
Amber revealed that she has been dating her girlfriend, Tasya van Ree, since 2008 and the two of them posed for pictures, officially as a couple on GLAAD's red carpet for the first time. Amber went on to explain that the reason she decided to come out was because she didn't want to be apart of the problem anymore. Saying that so many gay and lesbian people in Hollywood did not feel safe enough to be themselves, fearing that it might hurt their careers. Good for you Amber! (Source: Wenn)
