David Fincher's "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" is apparently the hottest upcoming film right now! Starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett, who both manage with brilliant performances, the movie is adapted from the 1920s story by F. Scott Fitzgerald about a man born in his eighties and ages backwards. The story sets in New Orleans from the end of World War I in 1928, into the 21st century, following his journey that is as unusual as any man's life can be. It's about a time traveller's tale of the people and places he bumps into in his path, the loves he loses and wins, the joys of life and the sadness of death, and what really lasts beyond time. Brad Pitt suited up in a Tom Ford tuxedo at the world premiere of Paramount's The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button held at Mann's Village Theatre in Westwood. On his arm the entire night was Angelina Jolie in a strapless Versace floor-grazing gown. Jennifer Lopez wore a super sexy dress that showed her hot curves. But the rest of the celebrities, we weren't so impressed of. Sharon Stone wore a feminine tuxedo and the dresses that Emma Roberts, Tilda Swinton, Cate Blanchett, Lisa Rinna and Eva Longoria wore just looked so normal!

Among the guests were Harrison Ford and his Calista Flockart, Salma Hayek in a long green dress, Cate Blanchett, the gorgeous Natalie Portman and Kate Hudson's mother Goldie Hawn. The most eye-catching dress belonged to model Linda Evangelista and was covered in gold sequins. The Cannes film festival had its opening ceremony yesterday as the first movie, "Blindness", starring Julianne Moore and Mark Ruffalo, premiered. On the red carpet were big Hollywood stars like Eva Longoria, Mischa Barton and stunning actress Natalie Portman who is also a juror this year. Julianne Moore wore a strange yellow dress and the best red carpet look belonged to Barton who wore a long navy gown and a beautiful diamond necklace.

Cates husband Andrew Upton and her two older sons came to pick Cate and the baby (named Ignatious) up with flowers and teddy bears in hand.
