Well after walking off stage during their Dallas, Texas concert due to heat exhaustion (it's been over 100 degrees in Dallas for the past month, y'all!) and then promising to reschedule for fans, the Kings of Leon, have officially canceled the rest of their U.S tour.
Say what? Apparently, there are health issues, mainly heat exhaustion, affecting the lead singer, Caleb Followill. And, the show won't even be rescheduled. At all. Thankfully the fans will get a refund for their tickets, but the Kings of Leon are leaving a lot of disappointed fans. (BTW: the Kings of Leon still have plans to go through with their international tour, or so they say...)
Here's the video where they walk out of the Dallas show after only playing 11 songs:
The interesting part of this story is the statement that band member, Jared Followill, released on Twitter after the Dallas show. He said, "“Dallas, I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am. There are internal sicknesses & problems that have needed to be addressed. No words...I love our fans so much. I know you guys aren’t stupid. I can’t lie. There are problems in our band bigger than not drinking enough Gatorade.”
This sounds like the band might have some problems and could possibly be on the verge of breaking up. We certainly hope not, we love the Kings of Leon! What do you guys think about this whole mess? (tmz, celebitchy)
