As you alreaday know Brittany Murphy's death was ruled accidental, caused by pneumonia along with prescpription and over-the-conter drugs, but there seems to be more to it! According to sources Murphy was prescriped 120 Vicodin pills 11 days before she died and on the day she died there were only 11 pills left in the bottle. That means Murphy must have taken 10 pills a day which, is much more than the maximum recommendation of 4 pills a day. Doctors on the case say that Brittany had a heart attack caused by a combination of pneumonia, her severe anemia and the cocktail of prescription medication she was taking. Brittany's husband says he is shocked by the report,as he thought she died from a heart problem she has suffered from since childhood and she only seemed to have flu symptoms, not pneumonia! Brittany Murphy's sudden death brought big reactions from her husband Simon Monjack who expressed shock and sorrow after her death: "My world was destroyed yesterday," he said after his wife died. Brittany's husband was in the house at the time she was stricken and he watched as paramedics tried in vain to revive her. Brittany Murphy died Sunday morning at a hospital in Los Angeles. An autopsy has been completed, but a determination of the cause of death will await the results of toxicology tests in a few weeks. Officials say early indications suggest no foul play was involved.
