Boy George was singer in the band Culture Club during the 1980s. His music is often classified as blue-eyed soul, which is influenced by rhythm and blues and reggae. His 1990s and 2000s-era solo music has glam influences such as David Bowie and Iggy Pop. Being involved in many activities (among them songwriting, DJing, writing books, designing clothes and photography) he has released fewer music recordings in the last decade.

We love Paris Fashion Week! So far the most fun runway show by far had to be the Etam collection! It was more like a pop concert than any a fashion show with Beth Dito, Janelle Monae and Boy George performing live! Hot tickets on the front row too with Kate Moss and Charlotte Casirighi, Natalia Vodianova, Eva Herzigova and Alice Dellal all sitting pretty! All we can say it star power!

Boy George faces jail for imprisoning male escort!

Boy George has been found guilty of falsely imprisoning a male escort at his home in east London. Norwegian Audun Carlsen accused the singer of handcuffing him to his bedroom wall and thrashing him with a metal chain on April 28 last year. Boy George says Audun stole photos of himself from his laptop, taken by the Culture Club frontman when the pair had met three months earlier. A jury at Snaresbrook Crown Court found the star, whose real name is George O'Dowd, guilty of the charges. He will be sentenced on 16 January. This according to Now Magazine.
