Lady Gaga still hasn't recovered from her naked encounter with legendary crooner Tony Bennett, revealing her decision to pose nude for him as he sketched her was one of her most "nerve-wracking" moments.

The "Bad Romance" singer was persuaded to disrobe for Bennett, an acclaimed artist, by photographer Annie Leibovitz for a Vanity Fair photoshoot with the pair who teamed up to record a duet.

And she admits it was a huge moment in her career - because the "I Left My Heart in San Francisco" singer is such a legend to her.

As part of her Thanksgiving Day TV special, "A Very Gaga Thanksgiving," the pop superstar recalled, "True to form, as me giving my all to my work (sic), I walked in and I said, 'Well, Tony, here we are...' and he started laughing and I dropped my robe and I got into my position. It was very, very nerve-wracking.

"I felt shy; it's Tony Bennett. Why am I naked...? The first thing that Tony said to me when I saw him (afterwards) was, 'Wait 'til you see this sketch I did. It's amazing. You look beautiful.'"

The sketch and the Leibovitz photo session appears in the January issue of Vanity Fair.

Lady Gaga has been named the highest-earning woman in music with an estimated income of more than $90 million.

The pop superstar has come top of a list of 2011's wealthiest female stars compiled by Forbes magazine, which put Gaga's earnings down to lucrative endorsement deals and her long-running world tour.

The "Poker Face" star's nearest rival is country singer Taylor Swift, who came second in the list by bringing in approximately $45 million over the last 12 months. Swift is closely followed by pop star Katy Perry in third with $44 million.

The top five is rounded out by Beyonce and Rihanna at four and five respectively.

It was a sea of red at Sunday night's Emmy Awards in Los Angeles. "Vampire Diaries" star Nina Dobrev (above), looked radiant in a strapless mermaid gown.

Other stars who opted for crimson included Kate Winslet, Kerry Washington and Connie Britton.

Actress Nina Dobrev and pop star Joe Jonas are among the celebrities taking part in a sponsored silence to raise money for a children's charity.

The Vampire Diaries star is joining the singer and other celebrities including Shaquille O'Neal and The Buried Life cast, who have all vowed to stay quiet for 24 hours on November 30th.

The stars are raising money for Free The Children's Vow of Silence campaign, which benefits youngsters living in poverty around the world.

In a post on her Twitter.com page, Dobrev writes, "Stand with me & Free The Children in silence to support those without a voice."
