Benji Madden and Paris Hilton split!

Paris Hilton and Benji Madden called it quits Tuesday after nine months of dating, a rep for Paris confirmed to Usmagazine.com. A source close to Paris said "Even though they are still in love, they felt it would be better to just be friends. Benji was overprotective and controlling. He doesn't get along with any of her friends and her friends thought Paris had changed since being with Benji and she wants to be herself again." The source also adds that Benji respected her; he has said that she was wife material and that they will be friends forever.
