It's not often one sees Benji Madden without his girlfriend Paris Hilton but yesterday he was actually spotted all alone outside his store DCMA Collective in Los Angeles where he was shooting a promo video. Benji was as usual dressed all in black which seems a little warm for the hot LA climate but at least he was wearing short sleeves! Benji looked quite busy but still took time to pose for photos with Austrian tourists. What a nice guy!

The 2008 MTV Movie Awards were held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City last night which meant all of Hollywood was there! Winners Zac Efron, Will Smith and Ellen Page all showed up on the red carpet holding their gold popcorn awards and looking very happy! Megan Fox from the Best Movie winner Transformers was there and wore two different dresses and Lindsay Lohan showed up without her girlfriend Samantha Ronson. The best red carpet look belonged to gorgeous actress Liv Tyler but we have to give credit to Anne Hathaway who surprisingly enough had chosen a black leather dress for the occasion!

Paris Hilton was busy filming scenes for her new reality TV-show My New BFF for MTV yesterday and naturally her boyfriend Benji Madden was with her the whole time! The scenes were filmed at an amusement park in Los Angeles and to make sure that Benji wasn't in the shot he had to ride in the back of the rollercoaster while Paris sat in the front seat! The TV-show has gotten a lot of publicity in the states and rumors that very few people showed up for auditions have circulated. We're confident however, that some Paris Hilton copy somewhere in the US is dying to be the heiress's new best friend! The question is if the TV-show will really result in a lifelong friendship?

We're actually pretty surprised that Paris Hilton isn't in Cannes right now with the rest of the Hollywood party animals; perhaps Benji really is a good influence?! Paris and Benji attended In Touch Summer Stars Party in Hollwyood last night and it was probably quite a challenge for the magazine to find celebrities to come to the party since most of them are in the South of France. If Paris is on the guest-list however, the party will probably be pretty good!

As rich as Paris Hilton is she still refuses to hire a stylist and we're wondering why?! Yesterday the heiress was seen out and about in LA wearing a sweatsuit that would look good on a Friday night when you're at home but that wasn't exactly appropriate for walking around town in. Paris also matched the outfit with a blue and yellow hat that wasn't very flattering and a very plastic-looking bag that we assume is from her own line of handbags. Paris went to a spa on Melrose Place before meeting her boyfriend Benji Madden at his store D.C.M.A. Collective to shop a little. We hope she found some new clothes!

Today's fashion blunder belongs, perhaps not surprisingly, to Paris Hilton who ran around LA yesterday in a pair of torn pants (or are they actually meant to look like that?!) and a t-shirt with a picture of Paris herself on the front! Apparently all the clothing items are from Paris' own clothing line and to be completely honest we don't think they're going to sell very well! Paris doesn't seem to mind though and is according to sources happier than ever since rumor has it that she and Benji Madden are planning to tie the knot soon!
