Pete Doherty is claiming that he has given up drugs for good after almost killing one of his cats on a drug binge. The singer said "I got a shovel and was goig to kill one of the cats. That was when I was like, you know, 'I'm a bit of a mess'. It was a bit of a crazy time". Doherty was released from prison just last week and was given a certificate saying he was drug free. Let's just hope he doesn't off the wagon again! Source: Mirror.

No need to worry, these pictures were taken on the set of the TV-show 24 on which Kiefer Sutherland plays Jack Bauer! Season 7 of the popular show was scheduled to start airing in the beginning of this year but thanks to the writer's strike the premiere was postponed so that all episodes could be shown without interruptions. This means that we'll have to wait until January 2009 to see the new season! How annoying!

Amy Winehouse was arrested yesterday afternoon over the sensational video of the singer smoking crack. Winehouse is being held for suspicion of possessing drugs and will be questioned by the police today. Peaches Geldof who appears on the same video will also be taken into questioning today and the police are looking for the two women to issue statements against the pushed who is suspected of trying to frame the two celebrities. Pete Doherty was released from prison today after serving only 29 days of his 14 week long sentence! Pete left the prison holding a certificate that said he is now clean of drugs. The law seems to have smiled on the rockstar once again as he served less than a third of his original sentence. We're not quite sure if we can believe that he is clean yet but we're going to give him the benefit of doubt. Source: Daily Mail.

Sharon Stone managed to sweep a female police officer off her feet the other day when she got pulled over on the side of the road. We're not sure if the police woman fell because she was star-struck or because she saw the $350,000 Bentley that Stone was driving but either way it was an embarrassing moment for her! Sharon was eventually allowed to leave the scene but the police were forced to stop traffic in order for the actress to be able to pull onto the road again. Just another day in the bizarre life of the Beverly Hills police department!

As you may have read in papers yesterday Amy Winehouse reportedly headbutted two good Samaritans after a night out in London and punched a third person in the face! The singer is now facing arrest as the London police confirm that they are investigating the incident and it's not looking too good for Amy. Witnesses describe how Winehouse threw furniture and glass around in a bar, did drugs in the open street and making out with a random guy in the bar she visited. You may no long be surprised by the soul singer's antics but it seems it's getting worse and if she doesn't pull herself together we're afraid she'll end up dead! Source: The Sun.
