2003Indie rock, Post-punk revival
Famous singer Pete Doherty formed the English inde rock band Babyshambles when he was kicked out from his former band The Libertines because of his drug problems and his stint in Pentonville Prison. Babyshambles today consisting of Pete Doherty (vocals), Drew McConnell (bass), Mick Whitnall (guitar) and Adam Ficek (drums) have released two albums, "Down in Albion" and "Shotter's Nation", still as loved today as they were when they were launched.
Nominated for several NME awards, Doherty won the "Sexiest Man" award.

We thought Katie Price, aka Jordan, was a walking fashion disaster in her pink fur boots and matching vest but that was until we saw her husband Alex Reid! Alex left the May Fair hotel in a hot pink t-shirt and carrying a matching bag, eww! Oh well, at least they're a great match for each other!

We're so used to seeing Leighton Meester as Blair Waldorf that we had to look twice at these photos to realize it was really Leighton rocking out on stage! The singer/Gossip Girl star performed at the annual KISS DM Jingle Ball and by the looks of it the performance went very well!

Pete Doherty involved in murder?

It was a bit more than two years ago since Mark Blanco died on the pavement after falling 30ft from a balcony during a party. Even though the police couldn't find anything suspicious with his death is Mark's mother Sheila Blanco desperately trying to find out what really happened that night. A surveillance camera captured Pete Doherty leaving the party at that moment with a female friend, almost stepping over Mark's lifeless body and ran away. "He didn't stop to see whether he could help, or even check on how bad Mark's injuries were," says Mrs Blanco. "It's just callous and inhumane. It made me feel sick when I saw it. You wonder where people's souls are." The situation remains very unclear when the Babyshambles singer has according to sources been in a fight with Mark Blanco and two others right before the accident. We know that Pete has a tendency to be wild, but could possibly be a murderer? All we can say is that what comes around goes around. We'll just have to follow up the investigation before any conclusions! (Source: Daily Mail)

Pete Doherty really seems back on his game. He is performing live again, (solo this time without band Babyshambles) and he is doing interviews for the first time in two years. The singer/songwriter was is in Paris performing and he did an interview with a radio station there. He actually looked really decent, we don't think we have ever seen him look as sharp in this suit and hat! But fans can relax he was dangling a cigarette and being quirky with his fans, so he is still the same Pete, just cleaner!

An MTV film crew turned up at Babyshambles lead singer Pete Doherty's house in the country and asked him if they could spend the day. To their surprise he agreed to a 24hr documentary! The film is a captivating and revealing one hour special. This is the first time in over 2 years that Pete has agreed to any television appearance! Can't wait to see it, here is the ad:
