Ashlee Simpson's Rise to Fame!

This is Ashlee as we first got to know her as the dancer sister of Jessica Simpson.

It soon became clear that Jessica was not the only Simpson with talent as Ashlee released her debut album "Autobiography in 2004, a major success!

An incident on American show Saturday Night Live where, Ashlee was caught lipsynching threatened to upset her career, but Ashlee didn't let it get her down and went on two record two more albums "I Am Me" and "Bittersweet World".

It was when Ashlee began her own reality TV show "The Ashlee Simpson Show" when fans realised what a fashionista and chameleon she was! Ashlee is now very well known for her ever changing style! Ashlee also famously got a nose job in 2007, as part of that ever-changing look of hers!

In early 2006 rumours started that Ashlee was dating Fall Out Boy band member Pete Wentz. The couple tried to deny their relationship at first, but there was no hiding their love! The couple were married in May 2008 at her parents mansion and her father was the minister!

Very soon after the wedding, Ashlee and Pete announced that they were expecting their first baby after rumours went flying around all over Hollywood!

Little Bronx Mowgli Simipson-Wentz was born on November 20, 2008. A healthy little boy for two of the coolest parents in Hollywood! Of course there has been a lot of speculation over the strange name, but Ashlee and Pete are not telling!

Soon after giving birth it became clear why Ashlee had dropped her baby weight so fast! It was announced she was going to have the starring role in the remake of 90's hit TV show Melrose Place! Ashlee was no stranger to acting as she had appeared on show like 7th Heaven, Malcolm in the Middle and CSI: NY before!

Ashlee played the part of Violet on Melrose Place, a small town girl with a dark past and secret. She turned out to be so dark, that at the end of the 1st season of the show, Melrose was shocking dropped from the show! Rumour is her acting was embarrassingly bad and she acted like a total diva while on set!

Despite rumours of trouble in their marriage and lots of drama and tension, Ashlee and Pete have been very supportive of each other and always seem happy in public! Soon after the Melrose Place news hit, it was announced that Ashlee is heading to Broadway to appear in the musical "Chicago" as Roxy Hart! We wish her best of luck with her future roles!
