Ashlee Simpson's Rise to Fame!

This is Ashlee as we first got to know her as the dancer sister of Jessica Simpson.

It soon became clear that Jessica was not the only Simpson with talent as Ashlee released her debut album "Autobiography in 2004, a major success!

An incident on American show Saturday Night Live where, Ashlee was caught lipsynching threatened to upset her career, but Ashlee didn't let it get her down and went on two record two more albums "I Am Me" and "Bittersweet World".

It was when Ashlee began her own reality TV show "The Ashlee Simpson Show" when fans realised what a fashionista and chameleon she was! Ashlee is now very well known for her ever changing style! Ashlee also famously got a nose job in 2007, as part of that ever-changing look of hers!

In early 2006 rumours started that Ashlee was dating Fall Out Boy band member Pete Wentz. The couple tried to deny their relationship at first, but there was no hiding their love! The couple were married in May 2008 at her parents mansion and her father was the minister!

Very soon after the wedding, Ashlee and Pete announced that they were expecting their first baby after rumours went flying around all over Hollywood!

Little Bronx Mowgli Simipson-Wentz was born on November 20, 2008. A healthy little boy for two of the coolest parents in Hollywood! Of course there has been a lot of speculation over the strange name, but Ashlee and Pete are not telling!

Soon after giving birth it became clear why Ashlee had dropped her baby weight so fast! It was announced she was going to have the starring role in the remake of 90's hit TV show Melrose Place! Ashlee was no stranger to acting as she had appeared on show like 7th Heaven, Malcolm in the Middle and CSI: NY before!

Ashlee played the part of Violet on Melrose Place, a small town girl with a dark past and secret. She turned out to be so dark, that at the end of the 1st season of the show, Melrose was shocking dropped from the show! Rumour is her acting was embarrassingly bad and she acted like a total diva while on set!

Despite rumours of trouble in their marriage and lots of drama and tension, Ashlee and Pete have been very supportive of each other and always seem happy in public! Soon after the Melrose Place news hit, it was announced that Ashlee is heading to Broadway to appear in the musical "Chicago" as Roxy Hart! We wish her best of luck with her future roles!

Ashlee Simpson is a teen idol and tabloid darling! She started off as a backup dancer for her singing sister Jessica Simpson, but later went on to sell over 8 million of her own records worldwide and to star in her own reality TV show as well as popular TV series Melrose Place. Ashlee is not letting a job gone wrong get her down!

We all know by now what a hair chameleon Ashlee Simpson is! Now she has done it again! After being fired from off her job on Melrose Place where she has been playing a red haired character for the last few months, Ashlee has gone back to black, the colour we first got to know her in way back when she launched her first album! We haven't seen Ashlee this dark in ages, as she has been playing around with different shades of red, blonde and brown for a while now. What do you think of Ashlee back to black?

Ashlee Fired For Bad Behaviour!

She must be feeling pretty bad about it all now!

The latest gossip from inside Melrose Place is that Ashlee Simpson was fired because no one on set liked her! We hear she was a total diva, showing up late and on top of that being a bad actress! Now that Heather Locklear is coming back to the show as her character from the original show, Amanda, producers felt they didn't need to put up with Ashlee's behaviour anymore! Ouch that must hurt, but it seems like it was all Ashlee's own fault. (Source: FoxNews)

Jessica Simpson used to promote the CW remake of hit TV series Melrose Place all the time, but now that the series producers have fired her sister Ashlee read more here
she has changed her mind about the soap totally! She took to her Twitter page to insult the show, saying ""CW catching up on MP.who writes this crap?i have had bad scripts to work with,but this?thank God my sister is amazing and got you some press." The rumour is that Ashlee was hired to create a buzz around the show because she is well known, but she was so embarrassingly bad, her scenes had to be cut all the time! Ouch!

Actress Ashlee Simpson smiled big for the cameras as she left her Los Angeles home the other day but we can't help but think she was just acting! Ashlee was recently fired from Melrose Place even though the producers won't admit it. Instead they have issued statements saying Ashlee knew all along her character wouldn't be on the show for very long. In any case, it can't be fun to be out of a job!
