Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz left Sunset Plaza in Los Angeles yesterday after a lunch date. As you know, the couple is expecting their first child and we can understand that they want to spend as much time as possible alone together before the baby arrives! For once Ashlee wasn't wearing a maxi-dress but a black and white t-shirt and black leggings that made her her babybump disappear!

All the rumors that circulated about Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo's alleged split seem to have been totally fictional. Yesterday Jessica, her sister Ashlee Simpson and Ashlee's husband Pete Wentz were in Dallas where they watched Tony play in the American Century Championship. Jessica, Ashlee and Pete didn't have to stand in the crowd with the rest of the onlookers though and instead watched from a boat on South Lake Tahoe just outside the 18th hole!

Newlyweds Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson have created a media frenzy lately thanks to their shotgun wedding and Ashlees pregnancy but it doesn't seem like the couple minds. Both Pete and Ashlee are used to the paps by now and are always very gracious and cheerful when they are photographed. Yesterday the couple went to visit friends in Hollywood and Ashlee was as per usual wearing a long hippie dress; it seems maxi-dresses have become a sort of unofficial uniform for pregnant Hollywood stars!

Jessica Simpson had lunch at a Santa Monica restaurant yesteray with good friend and hairdresser Ken Paves and a couple of other friends. The blond pop star left the restaurant with one her friend's baby boy in her arms and it looked like Jessica was very comfortable with her role as caretaker. Jessica held the baby close and smiled at him on the way out to the waiting car. It seems Jessica is practicing on being an aunt to sister Ashlee Simpson's unborn baby, or, who knows, maybe to be a mother herself!

It seems Ashlee Simpson is craving pizza during her pregnancy! She and husband Pete Wentz stopped by the California Pizza Kitchen in West Hollywood yesterday afternoon and both of them seemed to be in a very good mood! Pete joked around with the photographers, pretending that a blanket was a baby while Ashlee looked on and laughed. After finishing their food the couples went their separate ways for a bit and Ashlee stopped by both a liquor store and the ice cream freezer! We hope the booze was for someone else.
