Angelina Jolie has been in a maternity ward at Lenval hospital in Nice following the birth Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. The room looks similar to the ones in the images provided. It was rumored that the helicopter-landing zone at the top of the hospital would be their main exit when it was time to take the twins home but it didn't go as planed! "Angelina Jolie left the Clinic early in the morning of July 19th," hospital rep Nadine Bauer confirmed to PEOPLE. "The mother and babies are doing very well." Jolie and the newest Jolie-Pitts left Lenval to join their excited siblings - Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; and Shiloh, 2 - at Chateau Miraval, the enormous and luxurious chateau in Correns, France, that Jolie and partner Brad Pitt rented in May. "We saw the cars and we thought it was her but we didn't see anything," one observer said. Photographers had been stationed on nearby roofs of the hospital, hoping that Jolie would leave as she had arrived nearly three weeks ago - by helicopter!

Mayor of Nice confirms birth of Angelina Jolie's twins!

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's twins are officially here! The Mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi, presented one of the birth certificates yesterday on the steps of Fondation Lenval hospital, where sons Knox Leon and daughter Vivienne Marcheline were born this Saturday. The certificate revealed that Knox was born 18:27 and according to People Vivienne arrived within a minute of that time. Estrosi told reporters "On behalf of the inhabitants of Nice, I congratulate the happy parents," and added "I also congratulate the four brothers and sisters of the newborns who are real 'Nicois' (citizens of Nice)".

According to sources at the La Fondation Lenval hospital in Nice, France, Angelina Jolie has now given birth to her twins! Insiders claim that the 33-year-old had a caesarean yesterday at 6pm and delivered two girls. The first baby was born at 6.45 pm and the other at 7pm. The babies are in good health, another insider says. Sources say Brad Pitt was present during the birth. The hospital's spokesperson, Nadine Bauer, said that journalists would not be notified ''within minutes'' after the birth and that the only way they would be told was by a press release posted on the hospital Web site. Another insider adds that Angelina is expected to leave the hospital with her newborns within 48 hours. The American magazine In Touch Weekly claims that Angelina Jolie's mood has darkened over the last few days, an insider told the publication: 'She's starting to feel that the staff is star struck and not attentive enough. She's throwing fits if she rings and they don't come quick enough.' The insider continued: 'I think she's in meltdown mode. She's been getting upset if there's not enough ice in her glass. 'She's not walking around anymore. She doesn't even take a shower early in the morning. She just stays in bed, talking on her phone, typing on her computer, reading magazines and watching TV.' Famous or not, it can't be easy walking around feeling bloated and with your hormones all over the place! Renowned gynecologist Dr Michel Sussmann says to the media that Jolie is in good health!

Actress Angelina Jolie has checked into a hospital in Nice in the South of France to prepare for the birth of her and Brad Pitt's twins. A hospital representative Nadine Bauer tells the AP "There's no urgency. [Jolie's admittance has] been planned for a long time", she also adds "She's very well. Everything is fine." A French newspaper recently reported that Angelina actually gave birth to the twins this Monday which is not true. We probably won't have to wait very long now though! Source: People.com.

"My visit to Iraq left me even more deeply convinced that we not only have a moral obligation to help displaced Iraqi families, but also a serious, long-term, national security interest in ending this crisis."
