Mezhgan is the makeup artist on American Idol and it has been rumoured for a long time that the she and Simon have been dating, but they insist they are just old friends. But this weekend a friend leaked the news that not only are Simon and Mezghan a couple, but they are engaged! Simon has denied the rumours, bu the two were definitely all cuddly together at the restaurant and doing a really good job of hiding Mezhgan's engagement ring finger while the cameras were on them!

Chris was replaced with Tim Urban suddenly after his previous manager called the show's producers saying that Chris was still under a record contract for a boy band. Chris says he was released from the contract in June last year, a month before the Idols auditions last year! But his bad luck just kept going on, as he couldn't find the papers proving he had been released from the contract!The Idol people called Chris up and told him he was disqualified and replaced him with Tim Urban. Of course his manager found the papers after all the drama and now the Idol people don't want to go back on their decision.
