Alicia Keys is an American singer who started playing the piano at age seven and started writing songs at age seven. Her debut album "Songs in A Minor" has sold over six million copies. Besides being a musician, Keys is also a philanthropist. She is the Global Ambassador for Keep a Child Alive, a non-profit organization that provides life-saving AIDS medicines directly to children and families with HIV/AIDS in Africa.

The couple spent their day yesterday shopping (well, Alicia shopped and Swizz looked on) and seemed very happy to get some vacation!

Its all for Alicia Keys' the "Keep a Child Alive" Charity. These stars have all announced that they are going to be digitally dead for the next week. That means they have all closed down their Twitter and Facebook accounts until $1 million has been raised for Alicia's HIV/Aids prevention charity. Good for them. A bit scary with the pictures though!

One of hip hops supercouples Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz became parents to a baby boy, Egypt Dauode Dean, this Thursday at New York's St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital. Beatz, whose real name is Kasseem Dean, tweeted shortly after the birth with the following post: "I'm so thankful for everything I been blessed with in my life wowwwww". The boy is the couple's first child but Dean has three children from a previous marriage. Congratulations! (SourcE: People)
