Last night at the Brit Awards, Adele took home prizes for both Best British Album and Best Female. Wow, she really deserves it! Her first speech went like this: "Nothing makes me prouder than coming home with six Grammys and then coming to the Brits and winning album of the year. I'm so proud to be British and to be flying our flag." After that, Adele was interrupted by the host James Corden, but that was something she'd not let slide! She added: "Can I just say, then, goodbye and I'll see you next time round" and then flipped off everyone!
But later, Adele apologized to the audience. "I flung the middle finger. That was for the suits at the Brit Awards, not my fans," she said backstage. "I was about to thank the British public for all their support but they cut me off. So thank you very much for all your support. It's amazing." (bbcnews)
