What an exciting night at the Oscars last night! There were so many surprise wins! The greatest surprise of all? Avatar not taking all the wins! Instead Avatar director James Cameron's ex-wife Kathryn Bigelow, stole all the Oscar wins away with her war movie Hurt Locker, including the big prize of "Best Director". This is the first time a female director has been nominated and won in the "Best Director" category. So its another historical moment in time for the Academy Awards!
